Omicron In Maharashtra: Why did the corona cases suddenly pick up pace in Mumbai?

Corona cases are increasing continuously in Maharashtra. In view of the increasing cases, the Health Department of Maharashtra said that the active cases of corona will increase significantly in the middle of January. BMC has decided that by December 31, all the positive cases will be sent for genome sequencing.
